The opportunity to experience dance
is a fantastic gift to give to children + young people, introducing
them to a lasting way to keep physically fit, let off steam and
have fun!
The authentic American jazz dance styles, including
Swing/ Lindy Hop, 'Strolls' (simple jazz routines) and the Charleston
are an ideal starting place as workshops can be adapted to suit
all ages from 7 to teenagers, both boys and girls. The dances offer
energy and variety of movement, including swivels, jumps, kicks
and for the young or bold, even moves imitating animals - an early
19th century Ragtime craze!
Workshops can also be designed with curriculum requirements
in mind, from P.E. and Performing Arts to Living History modules.
Alternatively, you might just be looking for novel
entertainment for a children's party and we can help with this too.
